My most recent listing in Elkridge, MD saw quite a lot of traffic and we ended up with multiple offers. The hottest markets in Howard County right now are Elkridge, Columbia’s 21045 zip code, and Dayton.
Much of the rest of the county is seeing slow to limited demand which is interesting in areas like Ellicott City which has been very competitive over the last few years.
If we look at a different metric, there are currently 284 homes on the market in Howard County. Only 42 of those properties have been listed for more than 90 days so homes are turning over pretty quickly provided they are priced correctly and prepared well.
